Breast Cancer Sucks
Christine Smith came out on the runway; savvy, heeled, sexy, and ah, so young.
Her words “It has been ten years since I was diagnosed breast cancer,” took my breath away.
”You have cancer” can create an emotional explosion so powerful, that if it were healing arsenal, it would stop cancer in its tracks.
Her experience put her on the path of creating Northwest Hope and Healing, an organization totally dedicated to helping Seattle women facing the realities of breast cancer.
I love to witness the unexpected turned into something fabulous.

My dance teacher says that she wakes up in the morning and checks her toes. They move and she thanks them. She reminds us that every day you can express yourself is a good day.
