 I enjoyed your sugar blog...cookies are cookies, and sugar is sugar, but what makes it all work together isn&#039;t the Organic-ness of the ingredients always,.....it is the BUTTER!
   
Butter is pure gold in a spreadable shape able... smooth...delectable cube!  
Any food (almost) is better because of BUTTER...garlic BUTTERED mushrooms---shortbread made with BUTTER.
Have you ever had a potato chip dipped in BUTTER??...or crackers with BUTTER?  
Would you even eat a croissant without butter?  I think that is against some kind of international law isn&#039;t it?  
Frosting, without BUTTER is just sweet grease!!!  
Any food that has flavor is made better with BUTTER...How could you even make soup without it?  
BUTTER is the best part of Clam Chowder, or Potato soup.  
BUTTER with toast is what makes my home-made jam taste good....
Think Costco&#039;s mousse filled cake is good?  Try a piece of cake layered with (a little) BUTTER!  ..My husband thinks it is gravy that makes whipped potatoes good...wrong...it is the BUTTER that you add to whip them up, and then add again to make sweet salty yellow pools floating in the gravy.  You know you have had something good to eat when your shirt has a big BUTTER grease streak on the front after you are done, and your fingers shine with its golden nectar! 
Is this enough???  
As a child I got in trouble for using BUTTER as modeling clay...it was left on the table for that purpose wasn&#039;t it???  It could be shaped into blocks, volcanoes, bird nests and all kinds of amazing animals.  
Is love of this hardened yellow substance an addiction?  
Probably...just mix it with a little sugar, and pretend like it is the sugar that is calling your name, and then you won&#039;t feel so guilty cause no one will know what your weakness really is!

		<description>I can understand this so well I grew my own lemons last year. But my husband is the one who made the lemon bars. He is more of the baker type. I think the sour and sweet are a good balance that actually keeps me from eating too much - that and the butter in the crust, it is so rich.

I love your humorous perspective about bedeviling the next generation. I know you teach moderation, so she&#039;ll be ok!! It&#039;s a lot of work to make something that tastes that good, so if she&#039;s not into baking she might be safe!</description>
